Biodynamics Laboratories
A United States based laboratory, the developer of synthetic muscles and other biological method resembling artificial products such as synthetic ears, eyes, heart, liver, lung and other artificial organs which were widely used soon after their introduction and saved the lives of millions in total who would surely die due to the lack of proper donor or the long waiting list. The artificial muscle also became a commodity soon after it’s development and is ever since is used in all aspects of industry, transportation, loading operations, civilian and military area.
The laboratory was later acquired by Triangle Cybernetics and the research and development complex was maintained by it for nearly a decade. During the early phase of the Cyborg-Human war, the R&D complex was a stronghold and tech center of Earth Defense but obviously had no chance against the flood of the cyborgs and has fallen within months.
Triangle Cybernetics
The detailed corporate logo represents the shape of the cyberbrain (viewed from the side) and its triangular general shape.
An international mega corporation maintaining complete monopoly in cyborg production by solely holding all the licenses to technologies related to manufacturing cyborgs. Soon after the initial success of their cyborg products (which during those times were produced by using sub-licensed parts and by the cooperation with other companies) they’ve began to acquire the licenses, technologies and other companies related to cybernetics, and gained complete monopoly in cyborg production and technologies within a few years.
It is rumored that the neural structure of Shimabukuro Saburo was replicated into a cyberbrain by Saburo himself and was offered to Triangle Cybernetics, but the mega corporation always denied such claims.
On the fifth anniversary of it’s foundation, Triangle Cybernetics was registered as the wealthiest, fastest growing, most successful corporation of human history, foregone Global Software and Business Solutions (the largest business entity of the world this time, the successor of the largest multinational computer technology corporation of the late 20th and early 21st century, the creator of the most widely used operating systems and office software suites) and Health and Human Services Inc. (the second largest business entity of the 21st century specializing in medical technologies and care, and other human services; the largest corporation of the United States those times). The only negative event of the corporation until this time was the case of the first vice chairman, Robert C. McAdams, who was offered retirement (“to can spend his time with his family”) after his corruption was proven, avoiding negative press and the price drop of shares.
The first chairman of Triangle Cybernetics was Edgar J. Johnson, whose decisions made the corporation what it became during the first five years, however corporate leadership later decided to replace him with Marcus Stronberg, who in opposition with Johnson was a visionary who had even greater plans for the corporation. Stronberg’s vision was to extend the profile of Triangle Cybernetics into new areas of commerce, industry and research. The vision also contained a non-public aspect as well for Triangle Cybernetics: To gain global political power and complete freedom from every nation. The interested directors supported his vision (both the public and non-public aspects) entirely.

After a tragic car accident in which the second vice chairman died, Stronberg selected a new vice chairman himself, a friend since his university years, Francis Holtsmann, who also shared and completely supported his vision. (This was an unusual solution as one of the vice chairman’s tasks is to monitor the actions of the chairman, ensuring that the position and the power carried by it is not abused. However the chairman was able to force his decision.)
Triangle Cybernetics (and Marcus Stronberg) introduced four major projects to accomplish this new vision:
- Space mining program
To mine on asteroids using cyborgs only, resulting in no pollution and degradation of Earth’s environment, not risking human life, not consuming Earth’s resources, and higher effectiveness then in case of underground mining.
The mass production of space missiles was started to deliver cyborgs, necessary equipment and power supplies to asteroids in our solar system and begin mining operations and refinement of mined materials. Aside of space refineries, space factories were also part of the program, increasing the effectiveness of spreading mining camps across the solar system and providing maintenance for the cyborgs. -
Mars project
To terraform and colonize Mars, only using cyborgs at the beginning to eliminate the risk of sacrificing human lives. A familiar method was used as in case of mining operations, but the program also required scientific approach, exploration and study as well. (Public later plans included the colonization of remote habitable-planets and terraformation of all planets in the solar system.) -
Genetic research
To aid Humanity in fighting biological threats (beyond the repairing capabilities of Renova), to increase the length and quality of life (not just for a selected few but also those who can not afford it), and to enable the perfecting of human DNA to avoid hereditary sicknesses. -
Project: Golden Age
Was a global, costly but in the end very beneficial program. Hundred thousands of free and low cost public medical complexes were established all over the globe to provide affordable medical care to Humanity; elementary and high schools, universities and public libraries were established and maintained by Triangle Cybernetics; environmental preservation and reconstruction; and establishing new workplaces at a tremendous level by acquiring or building other businesses, factories, services were all part of the program. The work conditions offered by the project always were humane and acceptable, and never exceeded the capabilities of the workers, which made Project: Golden Age a popular and well respected new order for Humanity.Those individuals who were counteracting towards the members of the project or the project itself (either by behavior only, or were hostile or offensive) have been excluded from the benefits of the project. If the individual showed progress over the course of years or decades and turned away from the negative or destructive behavior or mistakes, was offered another chance or chances, however those who constantly broke the moral rules of Project: Golden Age (or proven to be enemies of the project or it’s members) were permanently excluded from the project.
Even the greatest Christian churches were satisfied with the methods of Project: Golden Age, as instead of offering free services to everyone unconditionally, only those were granted access to the benefits of Project: Golden Age, who accepted to become a value to the whole and never wasted resources on individuals who represented a counter to Humanity’s needs.
Triangle Cybernetics never was openly seeking political power until the later times of the 21st century, but openly worked it’s way towards complete independence (which it has achieved very early in it’s corporate history). The success and popularity of Project: Golden Age gave the required political support, so the corporation could form it’s own parties in various nations. As were proven experts of reformation, Project: Golden Age parties were elected in several nations to lead those governments. Using it’s wealth and expertise the project succeeded and was re-elected in every of the nations. Seeing this, the peaceful Project: Golden Age revolution began by citizens of many nations, and the numbers were increasing each election in other countries. Within two decades, Project: Golden Age became more supported and more successful then the United Nations or the Global Federation ever was. Soon Project: Golden Age replaced the old forms of nations and nation groups, unifying Humanity, and finally achieving it’s primary goal: Leading Humanity into an ever lasting Golden Age… or at least it seemed that is the case.
Astbury Pharma
A and S are the first two letters of “Astbury”, while P and H are the first two letters of “pharma”. In themiddle are the outlines of a compound-combinator, representing the profile of the company.
An originally tiny medical research laboratory founded in Newbold Astbury, a small English village. Their success-product (commonly referred to as “medical pack” or “health pack”) is powered by Renova, a genetically engineered DNA-neutral bacteria that can quickly adapt to the (human) user’s genetic structure and replaces lost or damaged cells. Thanks to Renova, Astbury Pharma became one of the largest and most prosperous corporations in human history.
